BUTTERFLY ON THE FLOWER
04.30.06 (5:20 pm)   [edit]

    11:52 APR 22, 2006

Butterfly on the Flower This flower bloomed at the second place. I happened to see unknown butterfly again.

Anybody knows butterflies suck nectar from flowers, but I wonder what moths eat. I noticed I did not know the answer of that question then. Do you know the answer? Moths also suck nectar from flowers? Anyway, I thought the butterfly was a kind of butterfly with no doubt when I saw it. And then it did not stay from there. I thought "I wonder if it flied anywhere." 20 minutes later, when I was going up the stairs outside in front of my room, I saw it on the blower like this picture. I was sure of a butterfly by that then. But then, I thought what moths eat. What did Mothra eat in New Guinea? Does anybody know the answer? Especially I like Mothra of when it was a larva. It was cute!  (APR/30)

I tried to send an animation movie, The wind of Harris, to the US today, but it was 25MB. It was too big to send.

UNKOWN BUTTERFLY
04.29.06 (7:10 pm)   [edit]

    11:25 APR 22, 2006

Unknown Butterfly I think I saw this butterfly for the first time. Off course, I do not know the name, and the hobby.

I wonder what name this butterfly is. I saw it for the first time there then. It stayed on the concrete for a while. It did not try to fly despite approaching to take a picture at all. My camera approached it 30cm (1feet), but it stayed on. So I wonder since when it stayed there. It was so, I might have stepped on it with my feet because I was working about a tire and wheel around there. This butterfly was lucky. I wonder how long it stayed there. I did not know how long it stayed there, but it was for 5 minutes at least from when I noticed it. It did not move at all while I was seeing it just as if it was dead. Have you ever seen a butterfly like this? Is a butterfly like this flying around your house? A small violet butterfly was flying for a minute around me who was working to the wheel and tire. It is a small like shijimi clam. It seems to like wet concrete before cement jelly harden. When I cemented on the concrete, many those butterflies got together there from somewhere. And they seem to like to stay on macadam of gravel road, too.  (APR/29)

THIS IS ME
04.28.06 (6:04 pm)   [edit]

    12:07 APR 22, 2006

This is Me I noticed my shadow when I tried to take a picture for this inflator. I am similar to my blue figure on the blog.

This is a new inflator. I bought it at DIY store at $4.3 last month. It looks for bicycles, but mainly I use it for my car, scooter, and motorcycle. Tire trouble is a lot this year. In January, the front tire took out of the wheel because I did not know about flat tire and I drove it a little. On top of that, I tried to send air to the tire, but I knew the old inflator broke that I had been using for 20 years then. After all, I changed new tires from old all tires. I think they were used for 10 years at least. And the front left tire got flat to half air pressure despite of new tire again next month. And this month, I noticed air leaked out of the air valve of the rear tire of my scooter when I took out the cap of the valve. But it seemed to be okay if I screwed the cap after a fashion. Then, I got a new wheel with a used tire. A spray can on the block is a black paint spray that I bought at 100yen shop. I cannot believe it is only 100 yen, $0.9. (APR/28)

ONE WHEEL AUTOMOBILE
04.27.06 (5:46 pm)   [edit]

    12:04 APR 22, 2006

One Wheel Automobile This is a used scooter tire and wheel. I got this one as used one at auction site before

This is a scooter tire (10inches). It is a front wheel. As you can see, it is for a disk brake. A tire like this might be remodeled to an automobile like Wonder3 in the future. But this tire would be for mouse. I got this wheel as used one at auction site. But I am afraid that this disk plate did not fit my scooter. But I think this tire is okay to use. By the way, I think the tire in Wonder3 is quite big because a horse rides on. I have a scooter, but I want to have trike scooter, a three-wheeler scooter, too, because the upslope is narrow to go through by car. So even the small sized car in Japan cannot go into my garden to carry heavy baggage from a lower road. I carry them with a handcart on the upslope. Especially a bag of rice (30kg/66ponds), a plastic tank of a filled with kerosene (18liters). It is five tanks once usually. And the slope is very steep. It is very hard work for me. I wish my car could go through on the steep slope easily. (APR/27)

MY SIS'S CARTOON
04.26.06 (5:51 pm)   [edit]

    14:09 APR 3, 2006

My Sister's Cartoon These are my sister's work as a child. She liked reading a comic magazine for young girls.

I think this cartoon was drawn with a felt-tip pen by my older sister when she was a child. She was good at drawing a cartoon very well. This is in innermost room of my house of that time. I wonder if they are barbecuing or something outside. I wonder if this character at left is octopus or something, and there is a seesaw in the park? But we did not know about barbecue at all when we were in childhood, so it is certainly that it was not a barbecue. My sis bought a thick manga for young girls every month. I borrow them from her, and used to read them often as a pupil. So I read boys manga book than girls one. They were Nakayoshi (buddy relation), Shojo Friend(friend of girls), Marguerite. And Ribbon and so on. By the way, there is a bamboo work box like a wicker suitcase there, it has sewing things of my mom inside. I bought it in Kamaishi, where it is in northern Japan to face to Pacific, in 1985 as a launch box for a rice ball. But she has been using it as a sewing box since then. She and my sis are good at sewing very well. Anyway, I think this cartoon is drawn by sis when about they were on TV. I think even she does not know there is a work by her here. (APR/26)

MR. GIANTS
04.25.06 (8:04 pm)   [edit]

    14:07 APR 3, 2006

Mr. Giants This baseball boy is in a famous cartoon "Mr. Giants" in 1966, too. These were stuck on the pillar, too

These are stickers that we stuck on the pillar when we were in childhood, too. I thought this touch of the cartoon was by Morita Kenji. I thought it was from one of his most important works, "Marude Dameo" It was a man name, but the meant was "boy who is all no good."  But it was not correct answer, it was from "Mr. Giants" of his cartoon, before I typed about it, according to my investigation on the Internet. As you can see, a boy, who wears a baseball uniform, is blowing up a bubble gum, but these stickers also were a giveaway of the bubble gum. And I think it was a crow. We called these kinds of stickers "seal" at that time, they were transcription typed stickers. I mean, they were rubbed with such as a hard head of pencil by us to stick on the board, a wall, or a pillar. I remember of the cartoon character "Mr. Giants" very well. When my parents and us visited to dad's parents house as a child, we called at a general store on the way home. I remember that I got something of the characters at the store even now. I put the cap of the character on my head at that time. I was Tokyo Giants fan correctly then, especially Oh Sadaharu, who was a home run king of Japan. He became the first director of the world baseball champion ship as the director of Japan team in the US this March.

By the way, a girl I put here yesterday was, but I remember her nickname "Ochara" from on the Internet. I think it means a tomboy as I thought. I did not know about it, Harris is from the school name that the boy goes to, according to web site. By the way, the cartoonist, Chiba Tetsuya, was born in Tokyo in 1939, and he was moved to China with his family when he was two years old, and he grew up there, and finally, they came back to Japan in 1946 when he was seven years old, according to web site. I had a memory that I saw a sticker of W3 (Wonder3) written by Tezuka Osamu, but there was not on the pillar or around there even though I was looking for. It was a sticker that some kinds of animals rode on the tire inside. There is a clear capsule instead of the wheel, and they get into that to move. It must have been a kind of future automobile by Mr. Tezuka. Do you know his one of popular works "Astro Boy"? It is his first work as animation film. It was his biggest dream since he watched Walt Disney animation movie as a student. (APR/25)

GIVEAWAY STICKER
04.24.06 (6:22 pm)   [edit]

    14:07 APR 3, 2006

Giveaway Sticker This is stuck a sticker as a giveaway in chewing gum. They used to be stuck by us very often.

This sticker is on the pillar in the living room. I think it was stuck on it by me or my big sister about 40 years ago. I think this girl character was written by Chiba Tetsuya. He is one of famous  cartoonists in Japan. I heard he was born or grew in Manchuria, northern China. I think this girl was known by "The wind of Harris." I think she is a tomboy. Ishida Kunimatsu, who was an urchin was, too. His family was living in the disused bus. I used to be longing for his living in the bus when I was a child. I think this sticker was stuck there about when I was 7 years old. I remember that I had a yellow their characters umbrella. It was my favorite one. I think she is similar to my older sister when she was a student. She used to be like this hair style at that time. A carton character sticker as a giveaway used to be in a chewing gum when we were child. And we used to stick them on the pillar or wall very often. Some of them were left in all over my house even now. I think this sticker was remained there for that long time, because it on the pillar was hit with the sliding door in the living room every day for 40 years old. Off course, they did not get protection for conservation. But they were survived for a long time, and were found by me these days, and taken, and could show one of them for my readers at last. WIN 95 PC
04.23.06 (6:32 pm)   [edit]

    11:28 MAR 11, 2006

WIN 95 PC This is a PC inside that I got for free. I added this black hard disk to run. No problem to run rightly.

This is inside of Fujitsu PC S2 165 that I stuck on my blog yesterday. It has Intel MMX Pentium 166(mhz) as its CPU. There is a hard disk of black color PC inside, but it is Fujitsu hard disk (2GB) I put there, because it did not have any hard disk from when it arrived my house. I have worried about Windows 95 to install to PC for a long time, but the problem solved by this PC at last. It had a lot of dust inside PC when I opened the PC, so at first I cleaned the PC inside to remove dust, such as, stuck on the fan of the case back, and under the CPU fan, too. RAM we call "memory" in Japan used SIMM type. It had total RAM 32MB(16MBX2), but I added SIMM 64MB(32MBX2) that I got as used at yahoo auciton to them, so it have 128MB as total now. Most Windows 95 PCs are sold at $1 on yahoo auction site in Japan now. The cheapest one is for free. But you have to pay the postage fromthere. I could not get PC(win95) at that time because they were too expensive for me, but now I could get it that was to be almost free at last. (APR/23)

This is a PC that I got for free at Yahoo auction site as a used old PC in March. It is Fujitsu FMV S2-165. It did not have a hard disk, but it was okay except for that. It came from Kyoto at $13 of postage cost. I had an old hard disk (Fujitsu/2GB), so I put it in the PC to run. As you can see, Windows 95 CD-ROM, and some PC manuals came here with the PC in the box together. (APR/22)

COKIE & CRACKERS
04.21.06 (6:43 pm)   [edit]

    10:34 MAR 6, 2006

Cookie and Crackers These are made by BOURBON in Japan. These are my favorite cookie and crackers.

These are my favorite cookie and cracker now. They are all BOURBON. There is a box of cookie (biscuit) at the upper, but as you can see the box, it is "Choco & Coffee." You can enjoy two kinds of tastes, chocolate, and coffee in one box. They are divided at the middle of that in the tube to two. It is my favorite cookie from when I was a student at high school. I almost used to take it with me in the rucksack whenever I went for climbing mountain. And it is very reasonable price, $1 at that time, too. I saw it at new 100yen shop a couple months ago after a long time, I bought it two. I am sure to buy it every time I go to the store after that. I do not buy it if it is very delicious. My point to chose is reasonable price, and it is important for me that it has special gimmick. And those two crackers at under are "Coffee Cream Cracker" of brawn package and "Choco Cream Cracker" of red package. They are my favorite crackers from last year. They are $0.8 each. I could not believe the very cheap price when I found it for the first time. I saw them at shop every time I put them into the basket a lot to buy after that. They are Bourbon as I noticed the maker, and I noticed it was also Bourbon that I used to buy often as a student 30 years ago. That's why there is a Bourbon's beside the cup on the table whenever I take a brakewith a cup of coffee or tea. (APR/21)

CROCUS
04.20.06 (6:00 pm)   [edit]

    10:24 APR 10, 2006
Crocus This is a flower I happened to find when I was digging with a hoe. I wonder if it moved here from our garden without feet.

I think this flower is crocus even though I do not know well about flower names. Do you know crocus? I think it is one of faster blooming flowers in the spring in Japan, but it is the fastest blooming flower in our garden. As you can see a few days ago here, it was blooming as the fastest flower in the garden. And I think this flower that I saw at our field is crocus, too. Although I do not know why this flower was blooming at field. But I did not know it was blooming here at first, because it was under a soil. But I did not know why there was a leaf of a tulip like on the ground at the field when I started digging ground. But I tried to move it to somewhere carefully, but the bulb seemed to be deep was in the ground than I thought, I cut the stalk.  But I was looking for the bulb, but it seemed to be quite deep,  I could not find it. I thought I should have not touched it to move. On the other hand, I did not know there was a flower in the soil, and I was digging the soil at the field with a hoe, then, I happened to find the yellow flower. It was a really lucky flower, because a flower that I took carefully was cut, a flower that I did not know there was at all was survived despite digging by hoe. As you can see, this crocus have been under the ground, it did not know the sun, and it bloomed in the soil, so the leaves are yellow not to get sunshine. I mean, it had not done photosynthesis yet. This crocus is very lucky, but I was lucky here, too. I did not cut frogs this spring, too, and the crocus, too. I found there were two still sleeping frogs in the soil at the field last spring, when I was digging the ground with a hoe on April 8. I did not know there was a sleeping frog in the ground at all, because it was for the first time for me, I did not take care about it at all, I was not digging an earth of the ground carefully. And then, I found two hibernating frogs with no cut with the edge despite using hoe. They were really lucky frogs. I think you want them if you go to dangerous place, such as Iraq etc. I think it is about the time to wake up for them naturally. After all, this crocus seemed to be taken by mom to near friend in the garden after that. But I wonder how to walk from the garden to the field for tulip and crocus that have any feet.  (APR/20)

WILD PLANTS LUNCH
04.19.06 (6:07 pm)   [edit]

   12:26 APR 3, 2006
Wild Plants Lunch  I bought this packed lunch at supermarket, COOP. It looks Russian, but it is not Russian.

This is just after putting in a microwave for four minutes to eat hot. This is a season special lunch in the spring. There are some edible wild plants that we can eat for spring in the lunch. My mom and I used to go into the near mountain to take some kinds of edible wild plants together when I was a child, but now, she goes into there by herself to take them to eat. Especially bracken she gets a lot. By the way, please look at today’s picture. You can see a food like an edge of saw or a comb on the rice? It is a bamboo shoot that is a main event for this lunch, according to the name label. And do you know tempura? I think it is popular in the world, but it is one of popular Japanese foods. I forgot what they were, but green fried one like a bar at left side was vegetable tempura. And orange one is carrot and butterbur that is one of popular edible wild plants. We took them very well, too. And yellow one is a cut omelet. Dark green is boiled spinach, I think. Chopped purple at side of the seasoned rice are pickles. I prefer an edible wild plants packed lunch like this than a meat lunch unlike Asada Mao who is top figure skater in the world and Colin who is a woman ninja. They really love eating roast meat than any foods. And they hate vegetables worst. Anyway, like this rice name, I would like to be fallen in love with a lovely girl at first sight. I think it is no way, but I wonder if they fall in love with me at first sight. It is better for me we meet at dark night for that.  (APR/19)

Packed Lunch This is a packed lunch I saw and bought at supermarket by chance when I went there to take a copy. It was 470yen, 2.3UKponds, US$3.9. This label on it says "Taste of Spring." The reason to buy it is because I heard from mom at breakfast that she was going to eat a packed lunch at a temple for lunch on that day. By the way, there is a yellow label on it, isn't it? It says used special brand rice for this lunch, but it was planted in our prefecture. Its brand name is "Hitomebore" in Japanese. It means "falling in love with the other sex at first sight." I ate it for lunch in this day, but what my mom with other members of the club of Buddhism singing together ate at the temple was a packed lunch like a piece of black on the rice. It was seaweed lunch.

ON BICYCLE
04.16.06 (3:41 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at quarter past five. It was a fine day all day long, but it was windy in the afternoon. I drove my mom to a hospital at 9:30. And I went to pick her up at 1 p.m. after getting a call from her. I collected money at all neighbor's houses in the morning by the bicycle. And I rode on my motorcycle after that because it would be cloudy and cold tomorrow, according to a weather reporter, Joe Zawinul. I went to an electrical store. I bought DVD-R (25P) media, and came back home at 12:30. I saw tiny three butterflies, white, violet, and white in the garden for the first time this year. Well, I have to visit to some houses that I could not collect money in this morning by absence from home from now on, so I am afraid I have to say goodbye to you today. (APR/15)

CLANING FOR BIKE
04.15.06 (3:37 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at the same time 4:30 this morning, too. But it was the sound of motorbike of newspaper deliveryman to my house this morning. Basically it was cloudy today, but the skies turned to be covered with thin clouds after noon, so it got to be a little bright. I had been sitting on the chair in front of the display of PC in the morning to set up another hard disk. And I was cleaning a bicycle after that until 2 p.m. It was mom's until a couple of years ago, but she could not ride it because her legs got weak, she said to me so herself. I touched it since last March that I was on it to go to Nissan dealer for my car's inspection. Both tires were flat, so I pushed an air pump to send air to those tires. They did not get flat. And I gave oil to the bicycle and cleaned it very much. I think it came to my house about 1992. But my dad got to be in the hospital, Honda SuperCub, lost a master who ride on the bike. It had been left at a parking of my house for a long time. Then, I heard from mom that a young master of the bike shop where dad bought the Cub came to my house, he suggested mom, "Nobody would not ride it anymore, so why don't you change the motorbike to a new bicycle?" Then, it came to my house. But the motorbike shop was closed some years later after that after moving and getting a renewal at new place. By the way, I noticed that I had the strange right ear on the chair at the kitchen for dinner the day before yesterday. It was blurred to hear. I got the reason soon. It was by the German dictionary patch files for SP2 of XP. I think it made me get terrible stress than I thought. There have been the same thing before a couple of times. But I was surprised of that even myself. (APR/14)

WARMLY DAY
04.14.06 (4:12 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at 4:30. It was not naturally. The noise of a vacuum cleaner by mom woke me up at 4:30 yet, even though it was from downstairs. I could not sleep again by that. I kept being in futon until 7 a.m. to listen to some language programs on the radio. It was fine in the morning, but I was afraid that it did not keep the fine weather, and turned to cloudy afternoon. It was warmly day today. I think it was the warmest day in this year. So I am not putting any gloves on now, it is the first time to type for my blog without gloves today.  And now, my feet were not on the foot heater. It is the first time this year to write blog with a keyboard. Yesterday, my mom and I visited a new hospital, even though we soaked in the rain. But an eye doctor took a day off because Wednesdays were operation day for him, an old nurse taught to me so at a lobby of the entrance, so it made us come back home immediately. And then, we also went to the hospital today again. It was the biggest hospital had that just opened in this month around this area. It was near my house. There is a bus stop where it was the nearest for us, but a bus came at the bus stop five times a day at most one way until ten days ago, but now, I noticed at the hospital that a bus comes to the bus stop 30 times a day at least only one side, four times an hour at least in daytime. It was only five times a day a few weeks ago! As you know, I was a poor old boy when I was in Tokyo, so I did not have enough money, so when I came back home from Tokyo, I did not use a taxi because its cost took $10 from the railroad station to my house. So I got on the local train from Tokyo to fit the bus time, five times a day, from front of the station. Or I walked to my house for 40 minutes in snowy night, or I have walked to the station from my house to get on the express train about at 23:30 in the dark night to go back to Tokyo. There was not any my family because my dad was at hospital with mom to care for about one year. By the way, the German dictionary was installed in the PC perfectly last night. Basically I made a simple mistake that I downloaded a mistake patch from the web page and installed. But I think it was true that it was easy confusing. And today, I had a hard time to install a fitting driver to my printer. I knew it already that it would be so because it happened the same trouble two years ago when I installed to change the driver for XP. My Epson is made for windows98/95 or Me. So I updated the latest driver of the printer for my windows98 PC this afternoon, but it took 3 hours to install the driver for XP rightly, but it was very easy way for just about a minute than that of XP despite about the same work. Anyway, it is usual that there will be a chain reaction of evil when we touch PC. I think it is true that there is a bad chain reaction in this world from my experience. Mom came back home at 3:30.  (APR/13)

It was not fit the service pack2 for windows XP, and I downloadedthe patch from the website of the software company, and patched it, but itdid not get well at all. And I did not want to write about it anymore, there was the worst chain reaction after that to me by the software. Thanks to the dictionary, I did not get to want to learn Germany very much. When I woke just up, I saw a clock immediately, it said at two minutes before four yet. It was dark day today. It was cloudy in the early morning, but it changed to slight raining before I knew. I went to a field at just noon to pick mom up because she asked me to do it before leaving from home at 9. She was waiting for me under the umbrella. My first work of everyday is what I see a clock beside my pillow to have to write the time on my blog. It was a fine day today from morning. But it changed cloudy from noon. By the way, my mom said for dinner yesterday she was going to go to the field today, so she asked to help her to me. And I drove her to the field with a bag of dead leaves that she and I picked up around a shed to use it as compost. We planted cut potato on the field today, but it was on April 8 last year, according to the picture in the album of my PC. I remember that it was windy very much, so I felt cold, but there was not windy today at all, so we were very comfortable day today to work. I knew how to plant potato because I did the same work last year, I started breaking ground of the field with the hoe without her advice. Mom put cut potato one by one on the field where I dug some holes. And I put earth that I dug on these half cut potato again. I dug five lines after all. In fact, I got burned on my left fingers, a thumb and a pinky by a heater on April 8, after when I changed water from the water tank of turtle at early evening before dinner. When it is changed, I know I must be sure to pull the heater plug from the outlet, because if it was on the board, it would make a fire, or I would get burned. I certainly forgot it, I grabbed the white bar of the heater perfectly after changing muddy water. It was in the air for a couple of minutes while I did the work, so it quite got heated highly. It dropped into water in the tank quickly after leaving from my fingers, but I had a cool-headed despite terrible burned, at first I made the turtle leave from the bar softly and quickly because his face was near the heated bar. When I grabbed the bar, I smelled solder. Those fingers were into the cold water with ice blocks after the accident for about quarter, and they were put with olive oil and bound by a tape. I felt hurt of those fingers in the night, but I did not feel hurt of them by the disposition next morning at all. It is not hurting than playing the guitar for me. That's why I grabbed a hoe today, I did not feel hurt at all. Then we came back home at 11. All is thanks to olive oil and ice water. By the way, when I saw that my mom was working at field, it reminded me that I watched a Japanese historical drama on TV last night that I watched on Sundays. The new lord of the castle was born in a house of a farmer, and his mother come to the castle to live, and she made a field in the castle and broke ground with a hoe.  (APR/10)

MY PLAN
04.10.06 (4:17 pm)   [edit]

It is Sunday today, in spite of that, I woke up about at 5:30. I am on Sunday everyday, but I do not also have Sunday. It was cloudy and blowing cold wind today, so I wanted to ride my motorcycle, but that's why I was not on it today. But I went out by car for 10 minutes. I had to send my mom to a nearby house of her sister's, so I drove her there at 9:30. By the way, yesterday was Erica's birthday, but it was the birthday of Sakazaki FM radio program as 10 years old last night, too. Erica's boyfriend is Sakazaki on the film, but his original model is that Sakazaki who is an off-license's son, in fact. I was near his dad's shop when I came to Tokyo 27 years ago. Of course, we did not know each other at that time at all. Anyway, Sakazaki was not a Russian like me. I also have a name as Merchandiskii, so I also am made a mistake to a Russian like him, but I have been a Japanese since I was born. I have never been abroad even once despite more than 40 years old. As you know, I have been leaning English by myself for four years, but I have never talked with a foreigner in English, of course, nobody of Japanese, too. So I want to use my English abroad because I have been learning English for four years. I have never taken an airplane like my mom. Of course, she is more than 70 years old, but she has never been abroad, too. We called at the airport of Hanamaki some years ago, we saw an jet airplane for the first time. She said that she wanted to take a plane once. So I think I try to make a plan to go to abroad by airplane next year while she lives in this world and has a good health. How about Hawaii? It is one of most nearest places where it was spoken in English for Japan. Maybe the ticket will be from mom’s wallet. I will go there as her guide who can speak English a little despite no visiting there and no on the board.  I said yesterday I thought I wanted to go to Pumplona since when I was young. Then I thought I wanted to join the event to want to be run after by running and coming cattle after me. I hope they are crowd beautiful girls than following mob bulls. And Gontiti's NHK FM radio program was the birthday as 7 years last night, too. The theme last night was "freshman." Yurie is one of freshmen on NHK. That was a just good theme for us each other. I have been listening to their radio program since it started. They are gentle acoustic guitar group. Mr. Mikami is one of two, but he is a cafe master "Cafe Riddle" on the radio. He bought a new PC after an interval of 9 years these days. And another member is Mr. Matsumura. He is running a secondhand shop "Recycle shop Kamematsu" on the radio, too. It was an antique shop before. He picked the thrown guitar up when he took a walk in the early morning often. It was his hobby, but it turned to be his business before he knew. But he is looking for the put banjo on the side of the road these days every morning. Gon(Mikami) is a rich man, but TiTi(Matsumura) is a poor man anytime, but I think they run a good business each other. (APR/9)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
04.09.06 (4:07 pm)   [edit]

Today is Saturday, and yet I think I woke up at 5 this morning as usual, too. In the case of Saturday or Sunday, I listened to the baroque music on the FM radio in futon until 7 a.m. from 6. Yesterday was the birthday just 500 years ago for Francisco de Xavier who came to Japan for the first time as a missionary from Spain. But they say today is the birthday of Buddha in Japan. We eat a Christmas cake each home on Christmas Eve in Japan, but we are almost Buddhist, in spite of that, we do not eat anything of special today for Buddha. I know today is his birthday, but almost Japanese people do not know about it. I heard from mom that they get together at temple on his birthday and drink amazake, a kind of a sweet drink made from fermented rice. And today is Erica's birthday, too. She gets to be 20 years old today, so joined into an adult society from today. Well, I remembered now that she drank amazake as she was walking in Asakusa, traditional town in Tokyo, last January. I heard Kitano Takeshi, a movie director, was working at strip theater in Asakusa before he became a famous comedian. Of course, he did not appeared on the stage as a stripper, he played a subordinate part before a show. The birthday of Buddha is called "The Flower Festival" in Japan. Hername might have decided to Erica because she was born in the day. By the way, I watched a video on TV after dinner last night. It was what I set on the night of the day before yesterday, it was a basic course of Spanish language. What I wrote about Francisco and Spain yesterday, but it was just coincidence. The TV said "Tin foil is a taste of mom" for people who speak Spanish in the US. Although, I did not watch whether he made a ball with that or not. According to the TV, nowadays Hispanic people are 40,000,000in the US. They said that a half of citizens are Hispanic people in LA. I was really surprised about that of that highly percentage. Even a shop master of Korean speaks Spanish for his Hispanic customers at their town. The language program hired 10 talents as their students unusually at the first day. Usually they teach a couple of talents on almost all abroad language programs on NHK for six months, but if they do badly at the school, the student is fired, I heard so. All they said that he and she want to be survived in the program. I want Yurie to survive the war especially. I know her last night for the first time, and she said her mom was Mexican on the TV. Great Sasuke who is a pro-wrestler and an assemblyman of our prefecture in Morioka, 100km(63miles) away to north from here, has a wife of Mexican, too. I heard he went to Mexico to fight at match for years when he was young, so his wrestling style is Mexican style. He puts a maskon his head and his pride technique is seen in the air. I want DJ Mappie who leaned the flamenco dancing to join the school, too. But Yurie said that she was not good at Spanish. Erica's mom is French, too, but I have not hared that she is good at French. Yurie said that she want to talk with her mom and her cousins in Mexico with Spanish by the school. Maybe Erica should have some cousins and grandparents in France, too. But she would be translated by her mom unlike her. (APR/8)

OLD DOCUMENTS
04.08.06 (3:43 pm)   [edit]

I wonder when I woke up this morning, about at 5? I have to remember the time when I woke up every morning for my blog, but it was not written by a pen on the paper every morning. I know there is a famous saying, "The early bird catches the worm." There is a same kind of saying in Japan, too. "Waking up at early morning profits by three small coins." I think the meaning is that a man who woke up at early morning can find just three small coins on the road. I mean, if you woke up, if you did not take a walk outside, it was not that meaning directly that you cannot find some moneys on the road. But if there was a fireworks festival in your city, you could see some persons like taking a walk on the side of the riverbanks, or beachside where the event was on the over next morning of that. I had heard the saying like that, a kind of "Early birds catches the worm." A worm is a coin or money in Japan. By the way, it was cloudy all this morning, but turned to fine after noon. As you know, I was at home all day long like my turtle. Not change the subject, but when you took a look on yesterday's picture, did you think there was something or ancient manuscripts at first? Today's picture is the sliding door, fusuma. Yes, it is historical important document for me. There should be something like that at the house of Francisco de Xavier in Spain, too. There should be something at Roald Duhl's house where he was born and grew up in Wales, too. I heard on the radio last night his parents were Norwegian. I heard there was a ball made by silver paper of chocolate there. Anyway, this worn-out shabby paper door is used at kitchen even now for us. My mom's bedroom is at the bottom of the door. There are two instant noodles on the basket because they are at kitchen, but they are what I bought at supermarket at that day. Especially, there is a square plastic box, but it is Peyang Noodle. It is fried instant noodle with sauce. I think it is the first instant fried noodle that was developed by Peyang. They say as the charm point it is easily to eat because the case is square like a box. It was 98yen per one, 45ponds, $0.82. I eat them for lunch sometimes. I knew it just now!, according to the internet information about him, today is the birth day for Francisco de Xavier, and just 500 years ago, in 1506 April 7. Is this just God's work? He was born near Pumplona, Spain, where it was famous for the running cattle. It was the place where I have wanted to visit the festival once from when I was young. And I was just reading now there was an article on the Internet by chance about the broken historical Gospels like this fusuma about 1,700 years ago. (APR/7)

Fusuma There are some English words you saw here yesterday on the cracked shabby paper on the sliding door.

TO PASS THE EXAM
04.07.06 (4:00 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at 5 about. But it started snowing from 5:30 and kept snowing all morning. But I went to a supermarket to prepare a lot of bottles of liquids for neighbors in the morning by car. The basket was too heavy by them. It had more than 15 bottles in it. I spent money from our neighbor's budget of this year. I was at home all day except for that. By the way, would you look at today's picture? Could you read these English words? These were written by me when I was junior high school pupil. This a kind of Japanese sliding door, is called "fusuma" in Japanese, is at the kitchen now, but the kitchen room was my room at that time. Then I think I wrote some English words to pass an exam to enter high school on the fusuma paper in my room. It has left like this. I think they were written when I was 15 years old in the 9 grade. This fusuma was at back of my chair of the desk. I think it was almost white at that time, but it changed to almost brown on cracks in the paper 30years later. As you can see, I hardly write English words in script now, but I seemed to write in cursive letters to English words to practice at that time. I remembered that at first we learned writing in script for alphabets in English class at school. I am not good at reading cursive script in English at all, but I think almost all Japanese people were so, too. Even I hardly remember how to write in script. In fact, my worst subject was English then. I did not like English class very much, so there were almost left textbooks of all subjects at junior high school, but there was not left English textbook even one. I gave up to study English, and I had even bought a German radio textbook instead of that. Then I learned German again these days because I gave up it in a month, too. So it was my weak point at school to pass an exam, so I think I wrote important English words even on fusuma like this. Thanks to these handwritings, I could pass the exam to enter the high school. By the way, my handwriting was not very good like this. How is my handwriting in English? (APR/6)

HABITUAL ESCAPER
04.06.06 (4:32 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at 4:30. I think you think I am an early bird. It is true. I woke up at the same time zone with birds. It was drizzle and cold today. So I put work gloves on again to type a keyboard. I put a bunch of old used papers on the board of my scooter, and carried it to the hut to recycle after eating breakfast. But I was at home all day long except for that. By the way, would you see yesterday's picture if you like? I told you about it before, but a Japanese rice wine bottle is called "tokkuri." A turtleneck sweater is called "tokkuri" in Japanese, too. I mean, I think the neck of a bottle looks a turtle's neck. Erica also wore a turtleneck sweater at home. Her family business is tofu shop. Basically her father makes them, and all her family helps him. So all they are early birds, too. I think this broken bottle have been left in the garden as junk for 20 years. I think it was used by my dad when he lived in this world with us. My nephew found it in the garden after we went to a limestone cave and came back home in the summer. He put it in the water tank as a test, but it was come back to the same place shortly. And I remembered it and put it into the pool again after an interval of 8 months for him. I have been thinking he needed his own house from his mode of life, whether it is a hovel. By the way, Kamekiti is similar to Steve McQueen. He has a habit to escape like him. He tried to escape from his mansion with a pool sometimes last year. He was a great deserter as a turtle. He climbed the can on the hill, and he stretched his neck to the mesh ceiling that I put to protect from cats, and he hung his legs on the mesh to run away from his gorgeous castle like ninja, and he seemed to walk on the mesh that had big holes to outside. That's why I think he tries to desert from on the can again. But if his dream come true, whether he has a trick or not that he can ride on the mouse of the bottle from top of the can to move. It is too difficult for him. Then I keep putting his bottle house in the pool like this. If he is a one of members of the mutant turtles, it is easy to ran away from there for him, or whether he likes staying at home like a capital. Anyway, this picture is when he came back home just now from taking a walk like a under picture. (APR/5)

HIS TURTLE
04.05.06 (3:35 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at 5 this morning naturally, too. But I kept listening to the radio in futon until 7:30 today, too, because there were some radio language courses every morning. I start listening to from the basic English1,and two English basic courses and a basic Germany, and a basic Korean, too. It was a fine day after a long time, but the sky was covered with thin clouds all day long, but it was not windy day about after an interval of a couple of weeks. That's why I don' t put thick work gloves on today as usual to type a keyboard for my blog, then I put a thin gloves on now. I think it is for the first time this year. It was warmly day at 11(53) degrees as maximum air temperature today. I drove my mom to a supermarket for shopping this afternoon, if anything, I felt hot in the car while I waited for her about at 2 p.m. So I drank a not hot can coffee that I brought from my house for the first time this year in the car then. I bought a book about Linux at nearby bookstore from the store during waiting for her. It was 7.3UK ponds, US$12.5. It was a little expensive for me, but I carried it to the register with me. So my purse had only 300yen, 1.5ponds, $2.5, after the shopping. Of course, I checked how many the purse had money before carrying it there, but there was not enough money in the purse after getting the book, although, I got it, because when I come to the store next time, I thought I felt disagreeable if the book was not in the bookshelves. Do you know Linux? Linux is not Windows or McIntosh, it is one of typical operation systems, and free to use, anyway. The book had 2 CDs and 2 DVDs of Linux OS. So I had to get it whether I did not have enough money in the purse. I dropped her off near my sister's house at 2, and came back home. By the way, today's picture is the whole picture of the Kamekiti house. I don't need to say about that, but he has a house, a hill, and even a great swimming pool. Even I who have him don't have it! compared to mine. I have an only narrow bathtub. His house is like the Hearst Castle near San Simeon. And there is even a zoo in his castle, but there are not a buffalo or anything, BUT there is an animal there, but an only one. He might not still notice the only animal in his zoo. When I took this picture, he was at home. He is a shy turtle. There is an entrance at a back of the bottle. We can see him in the hole, and he can also see the sky from the chimney of the ceiling. I drops feed into this bottle hole for him sometimes. Would you see yesterday's picture again? He starts being restless when I show him a yellow plastic bottle that had his feed from this spring, or I shook the bottle that he looks at to make a sound of feed, he becomes looks like that picture. He seemed to study when it was the time to eat feed from me like a professor Mr. Pavlov's dog. (APR/4)

OLD TEACHER
04.04.06 (4:33 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at 5. It appeared to rain already in the early morning, but turned to be snowing from 8 a.m. I sent mom and two neighbors to the temple to practice Buddhism singing with other members at 8:30. According to weather reporter, Joe Zawinul, I wonder if he taught us that it would be snowing today. Francisco de Xavier who was a missionary for the first time coming to Japan was came over from Spain about 500 years ago, but he was thought a great Buddhist priest for the first time by Japanese people at that time. I heard his house where he was born was left in Spain even now. Anyway, I also left home by car at 11 again. I went to 100yen shop, and called at a supermarket on my way home to copy a table on the paper that I made and printed with my PC printer a few days ago. And I bought a packed launch in the store after coping them because I heard that mom would eat a packed lunch at the temple for lunchtime together with other members. As soon as I came back home, I put the packed lunch into the microwave, and I ate delicious it for lunch with a cup of oolong tea by myself. It was cloudy this afternoon, but basically it was windy all day today, too. By the way, I heard the voice of dear English teacher on the radio this morning after a long time. I called him "Machan" by his nickname that I made as teenager. He was my first English teacher on the radio four years ago. I started learning English again after an interval of 20 years with his radio basic English course from September 2001. He came back to the same course since then. He was a very cheerful guy similarly then than I thought. I like listening to the basic English 1 that is the first step to learn English for junior high school pupil even now. So I was listening to it every morning. (APR/3)

F1 IN AUSTRALIA
04.03.06 (4:26 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at before 5. It was cloudy from morning, but turned to rainy from at 1. There was a meeting of neighborhood this afternoon, I had to attend at the meeting. By the way, today's picture was taken when I just changed a summer tire at the front right side as final work. BUT please look at this zoom-in picture of that. There was a word "rear right" in kanji character on it. Of course, it was written by me in old days. I mean, upside down at right side of the car. The front right tire set at rear right, and the rear right tire set at the front right. I did a wrong work for right side tires. But when I took this picture, I did not notice my mistake at all. When I noticed my fault, I wanted to say to myself "What?" I could not believe it. "OH MY GID! " I asked to gaze up to the gray sky, "What is the purpose of all the suffering in the world?" If I was a tire changerman of the Aguri F1 Racing Team in Australia today, I would have had to apologize to Aguri of the director who was classmate, and Sato, or Ide, too. I was watching the race on TV before I left from home for the meeting. I could not think that he was our classmate as the same age. He is a nice guy. He was a nice guy from when he was young. He and I drove Yamaha racing cart when we were young. He got to be a champion in Japan after that, and he teaches them  how to change F1 tires quickly and rightly,  but I even got a mistake of changing tire for my car. (APR/2)

NEW YEAR FROM TODAY
04.02.06 (3:08 pm)   [edit]

I woke up at 5? Anyway, I got out of futon after listening to English radio course and baroque music at 7 as usual. It was a fine day, but I did not go out because I had to manage for changing new current year in my PC. By the way, today's picture is when I was changing from winter tires to summer tires on the bank. So there was nothing around the bank, so north powerful wind was blowing to me like this picture from left side. But I wore an only T-shirt in a thin jacket. It looks a down jacket, but strong north wind made it swell like a wearing down jacket. But I did not feel cold for my body, I felt cold for my ears than my body in the jacket at this time. The top of Mt. Tabashine (596m/1950ft) that I saw from there was covered with snow from that morning. There is a triangle mountain you see, Mt. Rabitcrow Forest, but its height is 350m(350m/1145ft). The cold wind pushed my back to the body of the car, and it was trying to take my jacket off from the back. But I rather felt comfortable by the cold wind. And when I moved to right side of the car, the blowing wind got weak by the car's body. It was terrible windy day like that. You see there is a small light like something of small creature in the boot, isn't it? I noticed it was on the picture now by chance. When a digital camera took this picture, its body with lens faced to me, I mean, the side of the body faced to north, so it did not fall down by the wind, but if it faced the body to the north to take a picture with self-timer, it would have fallen down a few meters on the road. If I had a kite in the trunk at that time there, I would have got a fun like child. (APR/1)
