^{I woke up at half past five this morning, and listening to the radio in futon until 7 a.m. as usual. It was a fine day today. My women cousins came to my house with mom after half past twelve. Mom went to a dentist and a supermarket. We had a noodle with soup in the steel bowl together for lunch that they bought gave for us. They meet mom at a meeting at a seafood restaurant a month at least. They were singing a song with mom together in the living room. I came back to my room at 3 p.m. to update my blog, and they left home by a light truck at half past three. By the way, an email that I sent to a FM radio station was read by DJ Funamori at 10:30 a.m. It was after a long time. I wrote on the mail like this, "Hi, Alumi(num)! I am trying to send an email to you for the first time with this skeleton PC I collected some parts to make a renewal PC. Could you get it?" Then, she said, "I got  your email."  I added a Aopen DVD drive I bought in May 2001 that had been in the my first PC until today into the skeleton PC. But it did not have enough power to replay DVD, so I need to get add more RAM for the PC. By the way, I did not still get any emails from the radio stations, but I wonder if they send to my house them suddenly. I wonder if they are going to surprise me by that. I hope they think so, too. By the way, I was surprised by Nacchan(38) on the radio LF last night. She is a freelance announcer, but she was belong to TV in Tokyo a couple years ago, but she bore a first baby on 19th this month. Although, she had her program in the radio for only five minutes every night. I thought she would take a rest for a while, until this April at least, after bearing her baby, but she was talking to us on her radio last night about her first birth despite after only 8 days from her first birth. So at first I could not believe what I was hearing then. I think she must be a great mother! (FEB/28)}

^{I woke up and turned on the radio quickly at just 5 o'clock as usual. But I did not know the reason, but I had a slight headache. Usually I am listening to some radio basic-English programs from 6 o'clock in futon every day, but I could not listen to them any more, because I was listeningto LF1242 from Tokyo to get the keyword of the day during two weeks to get a gorgeous PC. They give us the PC a day as a present for them for two weeks. Totals are 10 PCs in the morning program from 5 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. So I kept sending the keyword with an email to the radio station every morning. And I sent an email of my comment about "flying or hopping." DJ Naka-chan of the FM program gives us "i-pod nano" one a day every day for last week. I wrote that how I wanted it to her on the email. I would like to listen to mp3 music with a car stereo in my car. But it cannot replay CD that was made mp3 files. I already keep using i-tunes of Apple to make mp3file with my PC last year. So I would like to listen to music with i-pod nano in the car. I wonder if she would send me it as the last one. She has been in the US as a child, so she can really speak English fluently. When almost musicians from abroad came to Japan, they came out on her live radio program. And I want to learn English by her. I have never almost spoken English all my life. I would like her to give me her English skill. And I will be going to send a postcard to the FM radio station to get a gorgeous Sony headphone for pro. He said he give us them seven as a present. And I would like to also get a coffee heater as a gift to me from another AM radio station TBS from Tokyo. By the way, it was warm at 1 a.m. today, but it was snow storming in the afternoon so at 3 p.m. it was the coldest today. By the way, I noticed my headache got better now. ^{I woke up at 7:30. It started raining from noon after a long time. It seemed warm today. I was at home all day long as you thought. I was at the next room, and touching new junk PC. It will get to be the second PC of mine. Free software in the old PC was copied to that PC. I added IBM HDD (4GB) for backup and RAM (64MB) to the mixed PC. It is faster than I thought. By the way, this motherboard was the same one with my first PC. My first PC's motherboard was broken in April 2003, but it was$700 to exchange new one by the maker, so I got used one on the auction site at $30. It is this picture's one. It broke last spring. Then I took it out of the PC, and the skeleton PC have been left in the room, but I got a used motherboard on the auction site, and some new parts there, and put them together to make new PC. This big black box is AMD Athlon K7(650Mhz) slot A. It worked right, so I was looking for a motherboard of Micro-ATX that could put CPU of slot A, such as, MS-6191 (MSI). I have two slot A (650Mhz), so I want to get the board for two rested CPU. But it was a little expensive to get to the performance, I had no extra parts, so they would not be able to get a work place for a while. (FEB/26)}

^{I woke up at 6:30. It was fine and warm today. By the way, I went to the next room to touch PC's something at 8 p.m. Then I put PC parts together that I had been collecting to a junk skeleton PC last night. It was Fujitsu PC originally. So the PC had a original connector for the mother board, so I had to remodel for them with new them. They were 3 LED and a power switch on the front panel. 3 LED were easy, but the switch was a little difficult to put on the panel. I thought I was glad that I had learned English, because a manual book of the motherboard was written in English. I could get how to put parts on the board thanks to the book. It was for the first time, so I did not think I found where I had to put them to the connecter of JFP1 on the board without the manual. I came back to my room before 11 p.m. And I installed software to the PC today. But I did not run at all, even electric power could not come, when I pushed the switch for the first time this morning. They were new one or junk one, so I put together to make a new PC, so I thought it could not run fifty-fifty, I was happy by my first homemade PC. (FEB/25)}

^{I woke up at 4:20 a.m. I got out of futon at 6 o'clock as usual, and went into the next room to use Internet, and sent a last email to the radio station. And I drove my car to a clinic to put mom's card at 10 a.m. because if she goes to the clinic at that time, she has to wait there for a long time to see a doctor. If she is so, she may get a cold there. So I went put it there instead of her. She was waiting in the living room until 3 p.m. and I drove her there. And I have to pick her up to get a call from her this evening. By the way, I put a new DVD/R-RW drive in the PC that I was using every day to make my blog and so on. I mean, I added it into the PC that had a CD-R/RW drive. The new drive became a master drive, and old drive changed to a slave drive from a master drive. They had no trouble at all. The original front panel was white, but my PC is silver color, so I exchanged it to silver one that had been in the box. And I got some new IDE and FDD cables for my PC yesterday, and I exchanged cheaply them to new them. By the way, I inserted the USB plug of new optical mouse that was only $3.5 to the main PC last night. It was my first optical mouse. It tried it as a test whether I used or not from now on. To tell the truth, I think I cannot return to a ball mouse. It seems to be on ice. It is very smooth to move. But it is only 1.5UK ponds, US$3.5, and a mouse pad for optical mouse that I just got is 0.6 ponds, $1. It is like a mirror of the surface. It seems a skating mouse on ice. And its good point is that you do not have to clean a mouse to use, you know, it has no ball at bottom of the mouse as I said about it a few minutes ago. By the way, I got mom's call at 5 p.m. and went there immediately, and I came back home with mom just now. By the way, I put a new keyboard on the desk last night, too. It is only 2.2 UK ponds, US$4, it was good one than I thought. Although it is a cheaply keyboard, it is very nice to type for me. I got a cheaply keyboard last June at PC store in Kitakami, but it was not good feel to type, so I use it for a bed side PC now because I used it in the humid basement, and I do not have to type there than other places at the bedside. And it was very light, ordinary I put a keyboard on the CRT display, but it is easily job than yesterday. I think I had a good shopping. Anyway, I went to the clinic three times today. I am at the next room after getting out of futon at 6 a.m. these days, and turn PC on there, and listening to the radio, and writhing an email, and sending it to the radio station every morning to get a great PC from them. By the way, I took a trash bag filled with plastic trash for recycle with me when I left home, and put it into a boot, and my car ran on the new pavement road, and dropped it off at a hut on the way to central city. I mean, I sent my mom to a clinic for eye at 10 a.m. after she received Home run tofu. I went to a 100yen shop after I dropped her off. I bought a sheet of plastic board for DIY of PC, a wood board for a mouse at bedside, a headphone for my PC, and so on. And I called at DIY store on my way home, I found an ink cartridge for my printer there, I picked it up to buy. I came back home at 11:30 a.m. It was windy day by north wind. We felt too cold outside. A telephone bell was ringing at 1 p.m. It was too early if it was from my mom, but as I picked it up, I heard a voice of mom at the supermarket. "Please come here to pick me up." My car headed for the store immediately. We came back home with a paper box filled with some foods. I carried it to home from the boot. I sent an email to FM radio station to get I-pod nano as a gift from them. I was at my room after that, buy mom was at living room, and she received a postal package to me at 3 instead of me. She asked me, "Does it have a CD I asked you to get?" "I'm afraid I have to say No to you. "She looked she was disappointed by my saying. It was what I ordered at auction site. It had some PC parts, a CPU cooler, a DVD-RW drive, an optical mouse, and some cables of PC inside. They were what it made me get happy. I will make a new PC on the old skeleton PC with new PC parts that I got today. (FEB/23)}

I rode it on a pavedroad for the first time to go there. I felt that it looked a racing circuit on scooter. It was warm day today, too like spring. I was at home after that. By the way, I heard a voice of Erica in the movie studio on the radio lastnight. She came out in the radio program on the telephone. She was talkingabout the movie that she was used by the movie director, Mr. Izutsu. AndCat Hiroshi with his pupil who was about 55 years old were called in the studio as their guest. By the way, I was touching to old PC in the next room today, too. I tried to install Windows95 to Epson PC that I got for free last February. I found it on the auction site, and I got it, and he livedin the next city, so I went there to get it because I wanted to save moneyfor the postage. It had a hard disk that had Windows98, so I put a old harddisk that I had got as used one at auction, and installed Windows95 on that.Originally it was installed 95 by me, but it was not installed completely with CD-ROM last year, so I copied the whole of 95 form the CD to the hard disk, and I installed from the 95 on the hard disk again for the first time. But I got cleaned installed 95 for the first time by the work. (FEB/22)}

^{I woke up at just 5 o'clock. I am sending an email every morning to want to see the Southern Cross. But I am afraid that I have never seen it yet. Basically it is seen on the southern hemisphere, but I heard it is seen in Okinawa like Florida in southern sea of Japan. Of course, it is a part of the Southern Cross, I think, around the top of the Southern Cross. And I also want to see a coal bag of the Southern Cross. It seems to be a dark nebula. By the way, a gravel road in neighborhood is been paving from today. Our only road is paved at last. It was a fine in the morning, but it turned to cloudy from noon. It was warmly today like spring. So a pink sledge that I used to carry a trash bag on snow once was put into the basement. By the way, as you know, if you are heavy visitor for my blog, I am afraid that we do not have a PC parts shop in this city. If I can say about my only complain, I want to say that there is not any PC parts shop in this city. That's why I had to get some PC parts at the store on auction site yesterday to put together for junk PC to run again. I got a CPU cooler, IDE cable for HDD, FDD cable, DVD-RW drive, Roxio Easy Creater6, and so on. Today's picture was taken to get a CPU cooler on the web to compare to mine for I wanted to check whether it could put there before getting it. Let me introduce about my PC inside, you can see there is a CPU cooler that has a big fan, but CPU AMD Duron 1.6khz is under the cooler, and this mother board.. MSI KM2M, RAM PC/2100 384MB, I added 256MB of secondhand at auction site to there. I send my blog with this PC to you every day. By the way, I tidied shelves that had something of PC because spring would have come shortly, then, I found there that there was a box of color-ink of Epson for the printer. On top of that, it had two cartridges, but it was sleeping until today, so it says that I have to use them until this December. I almost ordered it on mail.  (FEB/20)}

^{I wonder why it woke me up at early time like this despite Sunday morning, it was just 3:30 a.m. It was too early to wake up. But I could notfeel sleepy, so I had to lie awake in futon until it got bright outside at 6 a.m.And then, I brought today's newspaper with me to my room to read. Thereis a last page for TV program in Japan. A newspaper that we took said onthe page that there was a important program that we should watch today.I mean, it is the best recommendation program by them today. It was a storyof Fujiko Fujio, a kind of their biography. As you know, if you are a regular visitor, I just wrote about their history yesterday that they were Japanese really famous cartoonists. On top of that, the TV program especially focusedit on Doraemon. On top of that, the master of ceremonies of the program was a woman who had been chosen as Cinderella in old days. She is a wifeof a member of the Diet now, too. Anyway, look at today's picture. Can yousee there is a Japanese word on it? It says Cinderella3! I did not notice it when I took this picture at all. This amusement arcade is the same place where it had Doramemon and shamisen instrument. But there was no player there when I was there, so I took a picture. Of course, I did not play anythingthere then. By the way, it was very warmly today like spring had come. But I was at home all day because I wanted to get some PC parts on an auction site today. ^{I woke up at 5:40 a.m. I woke up at early time like this every Saturday morning despite Saturday morning. I took my better stomach back, but I had a slight headache this time because I thought I slept too long than usual. However, I just had a good stomach at last again, so I did not want to take a medicine for it if I wanted. But it was a chance to test the medicine that had a no effect to my headache. It was too weak for my headache. But I could not take an effective painkiller because I just had a side effect a few days ago. I thought it was a medicine from mom, but my painkiller seemed to have a side effect, because I had had a side effect by that since I took it for the first time, and it was an aspirin that was one of a little dangerous medicines. I thought it was too dangerous medicine for me these days. But now, I can get well with the only painkiller. The headache did not get better by the weak medicine as I thought even though it was this afternoon, so I decided to try to take the painkiller. Another reason was I had to check a side effect, I tried to locate it whether it was by the medicine. I thought it was a good chance to locate it. Thanks to the medicine, it is going to get well a little by little at last by the medicine after taking it before an hour. I would not be able to live without the medicine. What a big relief because I found the medicine. I have to live with a headache together for three days at least if I did not find it last month. I can say that it is my lifesaver for me. I would be in the same boat with it, if I would go abroad on the boat. (FEB/18)}

^{As soon as I woke up at 5:40 a.m. I turned on the radio at bedside. They were talking about Rabbit Sekine who was a Japanese comedian then, but he was a man that had been in my dream of this morning. Really? I sent an email to them with a message of the dream about him and the correct answer this morning, too. I think I would like to see the Southern Cross once in the southern hemisphere. I know there is a bag of coal in the constellation. We call it so. I read a book of "The galaxy railroad in the night" Miyazawa Kenji, and I knew the place looked quite darkness like coal than around it. He was born about 100 years ago and growing up in our prefecture. I really like his stories. He is my best favorite novelist. But he was a poor even though his home was rich, he was a teacher of agriculture at high school. He died at age of about 37 in 1933 in terrible poor. He got rich and famous after he died. By the way, basically my stomachache is okay. I feel my stomachache was better than yesterday. I could get to be happy that it was only so. I think I do not have to see a doctor. My mom gave me rice porridge for breakfast. It was kindly meal for my stomach this morning. I am going to eat a bowl of eel on the rice for dinner tonight because I did not have it last night by stomachache. It has been leaving on the table in the kitchen.  By the way, this picture was taken at game center in the supermarket. This game machine is called UFO Catcher. Can you see there are two hanged arms to catch them?  They are a kind of cat robots in the future. But as you see, it is too heavy to pick up by the arms. It is not easily to get it. You will spend a lot of money to get it.  By the way,   Doraemon was drown by "Fujiko Fujio." It is one of the most important works of them. Actually, Fujiko Fujio is pen name for two men. So it seemed to be name for a man in even Japan,  but in fact, it was a kind of group name.  I did not know about it  for a while as a child.  They were close  friends  each  other  from  an elementary school in Toyama, Japan. One of two is  Fujimoto Hiroshi.  He already passed away in 1996 I have seen the movie on  TV about  his child age last year. According to the movie, he was a little boy than other classmates but very smart. He was born in 1933 and grown in  Tokyo,  but the  Second World War heated, he and most  his  classmates  were evacuated to  Toyama in a group. They lived in a temple as evacuated children together.  They went to nearby elementary school to study  every day, but  they were  evacuated  children  there,  so he and all  of them was in a difficult situation with local children. However, he got to know Abiko Motowo (1934- ) who would be one of members of Fujiko Fujio in the future there. After the war, Fujimoto went back to his home in Tokyo. They were separated by that  once,  but  they got  together  again  to  make a great  cartoon   after their graduation from schools. But according to some information on the Internet about them, Fujimoto's hometown is Takaoka, Toyama. Anyway, it seems to be real fact that they got to know at elementary school in Toyama, according to my writing in June last year. (FEB/17)}

^{I woke up at 11:45 p.m. by a stomachache. I went to the bathroom sometimes. It was 1:15 a.m. that I came back to futon. And I woke up at5:20 again by the pain. I thought it was by a side effect of a tablet that I had got from mom last morning. It was a painkiller from doctor. Basically I was sick in bed all day. It started snowing from 7 a.m. from raining. By the way, I drove mom to this central city for a meeting once a month with her relations at 11 a.m. and went to a bookstore after dropping her off in front of the drug store. I bought PC magazine, and a textbook of business English in the store. And I picked a call from her up at 3:30 at last, I went to a nearby supermarket to pick her up. We came back home with some shopping bags in the snow at 3:50. I still have a stomachache, I had a banana with a cup of milk for dinner just now. ^{It was just 5 o'clock when I came out of a dream. I was listening to the radio until 7 o'clock. I felt that it was very warm this morning. And I sent an email to the radio station for the first time to the morning program before 7. Today's maximum temperature was 11.4(53) degrees today, too. It made snow around in the garden melt quite. By the way, I drove my mom to a ceremony hall to say good-by to her aunt for her. Her aunt died a couple days ago. After I dropped her off there, I went to a 100yen shop in the supermarket. It was the second times I came to the store. As you know, I like shopping at 100yen shop. I put a metal scale of 30cm(1feet), a bag of three teeth brush, two boxes of biscuits, Coffee and Tea of Bourbon that was my favorite cookie from when I was high school student, I used to take it with me in the rucksack when I went to the mountain to climb, and a bag of screwdrivers, into the basket to buy. I paid him 4 UK ponds, US$8 at register. I came back home at 11. By the way, let me explain today's picture. This PC, Hitachi Flora310 (1997), was moved here on the 6th day this month to check on auction site in futon. I called it "bedside PC" from the day. This mouse is a used, too, I got it at auction site. This keyboard is what I bought at $4 at PC parts shop last year, but it was very cheap one, but it was Japanese maker, but I felt the keyboard's feeling is dull, so I did not want to type with this keyboard if I want. By the way, as you know, yesterday was St. Valentine Day, but there was never any woman to give me even apiece of chocolate this year, too as you thought. But I would like to think to get a chocolate like air from a beautiful lady who thought to want to give me but could not give it to me. I am thinking so. ^{I woke up at 5:45 a.m. I was thought last night that it would be warm tomorrow morning, so I turned the heater for water pipe off last night. Today is warm. Much snow around my house must be melted a little today. It was a fine this morning, but today was not a happy Valentine Day for me. I did not even get a chocolate today. Where is my chocolate? I have never get a lovely Valentine chocolate all my life, although you cannot believe it. But I am afraid that it is true. This is my general Valentine Day. Anyway, a box of used CD that I got at auction arrived to me today instead of Valentine chocolate. And silicon grease for CPU, and CD of Chick Corea "Mad Hatter" arrived to me last evening. They are what I ordered at Amazon. Even grease is not sold in this city. So I had to order it by mail. But it was only $1, so it was too expensive for only that, so I made up my mind to order something to add. Then, I found what I had wanted for a longtime to get in the store at last. That's why I want to have a PC parts shop. this city. The CD was what I want for a long time. I have the LP record. It was what I bought in 1978 when I was a student at high school, as just it came out. I have been listening to the record until I bought the CD for 28 years. I recognized it was one of my favorite CDs when I was listening to it in futon with a headphone again. I am on happy Valentine day by the CD. (FEB/14)} 

Chinese Food This is a bowl of rice with mixture on it. It is what my sis got at supermarket and gave us for lunch.

Adding to the picture...These rice fields are used for collecting water when there is going to be a flood. A group of swans that come to eat rice on the ground from Siberia are seen in these fields every winter often. That elavated railroad on rice fields is for super express. I ride motorcycle on field roads and under the bridge sometimes. A triangle shape mountain over there is Mt. Rabbitcrow. One of these fields is what the home of mom's parents has.

^{It may be before yours again, but I woke up at 5:30 this morning. Almost Japanese newspapers together took a day off to give a rest for delivery workers, so I did not have a paper this morning to read. So I was boring this morning. When I got out of futon and went to downstairs at 7 a.m. my mom said to me that a water tap had been frozen this morning. Of course, she turned the water off at the mains valve before she went to bed last night as usual, too. But it was frozen despite not terrible cold at -4(24) degrees. If we did not turn the switch of the heater on, it would not have been frozen at that temperature. She forgot to turn the switch on last night. It heats the pipe of the water at the north side outside. I said to her that she did not need to be worried about that at all because she said she had prayed to god about that. That's because I turned the heater on. The frozen opening the tap started spouting water shortly as I said, because I am a son of a plumber. It was a fine this morning, but it turned to cloudy in the afternoon. I did not think so, but it was a warmly day, according to a web site of the weather report. It said the maximum temperature of today was 8.2(47) degrees. Really? I feel cold as usual. No, I feel colder as usual, so I turned a kerosene fan heater on at last today. But I remembered that there was a big snow sliding on the hut's roof at 2:10 p.m. I had to admit that it was by warm weather. Anyway, I cannot put up with this cold like it was outside anymore. If the spring has come(if I get some money), I would use a kerosene heater in my room without a worry about money all day long. By the way, I turned my bedside PC on at 9 p.m. to check an auction site, and turned it off after 11 p.m. But I could not get a used parts of PC that I needed last night again despite lying in futon to get it until after 11 p.m. I offered my bid for the parts, I was at the first place to get it, and was keeping the rank until 5 minutes ago of the auction that would finish, but I had something nice snatched away from under my nose by a sly dog suddenly. If there was not that, I would have got it at $1. It was rich, but I was poor. However, web auction is what is so. I could not get it, but I raised the price to $4 for the having owner. I should be appreciated by him. I think so whenever I could not get it. Thanks to the exciting mind like that, I could not go to sleep easily after the auction last night. I was watching the display of the bedside PC in futon for two hours. By the way, my massage for the music quiz that I had sent to a local radio station last Monday was read this afternoon at 2:30 on the radio, but they did not said that they gave me a present despite my correct answer of the quiz. I sent many correct answers to them, but they did not send me any presents even once until now. So I am still a poor boy even now. Anyway, I have sore eyes now because I was using PC for too longtime. So they need to get dropped eye lotion, and I am in the mood for eating a chocolate that was from lovely girl tomorrow for my mouth now. (FEB/13)}

^{It was a fine this morning before turning cloudy in the afternoon, and today was Sunday, so I tried to go out by car. I left home after 10 a.m. but I was surprised a little that there was a lot left snow yet, because it was after interval of a week that I took a wheel. I mean, my going out was since last Sunday. However, I noticed about it when the car ran a little on the road that had left snow at the side of the road. My driving car tried to go to the left side on the road. I mean, a steering wheel tries to turn to the left without my mind. It reminded me that old snow tires got to be flat at the end of the last year. But the tire is new, I bought just them an only last month. When I stopped the car at a parking lot of electrical shop, I checked the front left tire, I was afraid that it was flat than I thought. It was new one! It was a cheap tire of the car gear shop's bland. I gave up today's having a driving there, and came back home slowly. As soon as I returned to home, I checked the air pressure of the flat tire. It had 0.5kg(1pond), so I had to push a hand air pump at over 200 times in the windy outside to go to 2.0kg(4ponds). Other tires were 2.0kg. The old snow front left tire that faced to the north tended to leak the air, but it was new one! It was too fast that air leaked even though it got to be hard by cold wind. By the way, I listen to the music of record with a stereo on Sundays, because listening to a record is really troublesome job. First, I made a cup of drip coffee before I listened to a record. It was what my sister gave me. I usually have an instant coffee, but when I listen to music with a stereo, I make a drip coffee. It is a little happiness for me. I listened to the record of Spyrogyra. It was their first album. I bought it at imported record in 1979. When I want to feel the spring, I put the record on the turntable. It reminds me of the early spring, or it reminds me that the spring will come shortly. I put the record on the turntable once a year at least to feel the spring. It is one of my favorite records. Just my room changed to a jazz cafe then. (FEB/12)}

^{I woke up 6:30. I could sleep for over 8 hours unusually. By the way, basically I have three PCs I use these days. A main PC on the desk is for my web page making, and watching movie films. And the second PC is at next room that is called PC Room by me, I was using it at morning to see a web news etc. And third one is near my pillow from this week. As you know, it was for using in the basement in summer season, but it on the table at next room except for summer, and it was not used almost, so I moved it there a few days ago. Mainly I lay on my face to be using it for checking auction site in futon, I was using it for that until 10 p.m. until going to sleep. It became a very useful PC. It was good moving. I turned the light at the futon side off to go to sleep after offering my bid, but I thought it was 50/50 as the probability to get, but I got to be a getting for that on the next room's PC when I got up. It was the box of music CD at last, 25 UK ponds, US$50. It was too expensive shopping for me who was poor. The time I got it was the almost same time with the opening ceremony of The Turin Winter Olympic. So I want to call him "Itariano! You must be an Itariano!" from today. I remembered that I think he had said that he had liked Italian opera. It was a fine this morning, but snowing began from 3 p.m. I wonder when the spring would come, or I wonder if the spring would come really next month. It was cold day day after day. By the way, today's picture is about my laptop of IBM with an inverter that I bought these days. It was that I was using the PC in the car. At first, I pulled a cigar-lighter out, and put a plug of the inverter into there, and I turned on the PC to check the working rightly, IBM345CS (1996) of Windows95. That silver steal box is the inverter, and a black box is an adapter of the laptop. It was all right to show me a details map I had downloaded to the PC, but it had to wait a little time to see it because it was a weak machine. But It is better that I do not have any maps there. But if my girl friend sits on the sheet, I wonder where I should put the PC when we have a drive. I think it would be on her lap. And I would like to sleep on her lap like the laptop, too. ^{I woke up at quarter to five this morning. I did washing with a washing machine from 7 until 8, and hung out the washing to dry in the hut after breakfast. Basically it was cloudy all day. Mom walked to the nearby dentist this morning to see a doctor again. I gave an email yesterday from my older sister, it was written like this, her son got the flu. He is a student at high school, but he thought he got a cold last Friday, but he with his mom went to a clinic to see a doctor, then, the doctor said that my nephew got the flu, it was not an ordinary cold. He has been absent from school from Monday. He was in bed today, too. The school has a test in this week, but his teacher said that he was not a absent because it was the flu. But if it was just a cold, I heard it got to be an absent. By the way, I heard Japan Prime Minister J. Koizumi said "It is better we have a broadcasting in English" this morning. He said like this, he thought NHK should need a channel for people from other countries. Although I also wrote my link to NHK Daily News yesterday. I would like to think he is one of my guests for my page. I heard he has been to London to study English when he was young.　I saw a web news that two shrine maidens of the Dazaifu Shrine in Fukuoka that was a god for study visited Mr. Koizumi this morning, but there is a grave of the wife of the god in this city. ^{I woke up at 5:30 naturally, although I wanted to sleep more. I wonder what wake me up such an early time every morning. Luckily, there was thin snow this morning than I thought when I closed the curtain last evening, it was like I could use a broom to clear it. But a snowstorm started  at 10 a.m. and kept it until 2 p.m. By the way, today is the death day of my grandmother, mom's mom, so my mom went to her grave to pray her this morning, and came back home on foot just now. The day was on February 9 1985. She was at the age of about 92. She was born in 1892 as a first child at Genbi. In my room is the same environment with outside without a cold blowing, so I am wearing an ear band in my room anytime because I have had a chilblain from some days ago. I wonder if Erica who likes winter would have a chilblain when she is in snow. She was ninja who throw a knife and can ride a horse like the ninja turtles. By the way, I put a link for the first time on my blog. One of them is NHK daily news. You can listen to Japanese news by many languages from there. And another one is the site of Iwate Nichinichi Shimbun (Iwate daily newspaper). You can see the latest scenery in this city from there. It is "today's morning picture" it is taken by a journalist of the paper when it is taking a walk. There is a caption under today's picture, but it says "(this picture is taken) from Sekigaoka(housing estate on the hill) to direction of the Ichinoseki Railroad Station. There is a lower mountain is the Mount Ranbai at 8:25 a.m. on FEB 9." And there is a factory you can see is NEC at this side of the station. There is an elevated railroad you can see is the super express of Japan that is called "Shinkansen." One of them stops at the station, we take the trains when we go to Tokyo to the left side etc. By the way, as soon as mom came home she turned on the switch, and mom is taking a bath now. ^{I went to sleep at 9 p.m., so I woke up at 4:30 this morning. But I was surprised when I got out of house. 20cm (8inch) of humid snow was around my house. I had to clear the road of heavy snow to take a long time. But it was a good exercise for me this morning, too. I did it before breakfast and after breakfast twice, and at noon, too. It was snowing in early morning, but it stopped shortly, so it was so humid snow that it was melted easily than powder snow. But there is about 1m (3.3feet) of snow in front of the entrance outside. By the way, I have no news about me because I was at home all day, but my mom left home at 10:30 and walked to a nearby dentist for the first time after calling. It was a 30-minutes walking on snowy road for her. And she came back home at 12:30. She was looking for the telephone number with a telephone book first and a magnifying glass that I had given her, but she did not find it, so she made a call to a telephone office to know the number. But it was 0.5Ukponds, US$1 once. I said to her that she should have asked me to look for it when she came home, it was free. It started heavy snowing from 3 p.m. again. I would have to clear the road of snow tomorrow morning again. If I ski, I think I would be glad there are a lot of snow here like this. You know, I have chilblains on my earlobe at last from a few days ago by this too cold winter despite not having it on my feet or hand this year yet. By the way, the head office of Yamaha is in Shizuoka Prefecture, but Colin, a pretty girl ninja, was growing up at the same city with the office of Yamaha until she moved to Tokyo at the age of 13 years old by herself to become a great ninja. ^{I woke up at 6 this morning. That's because I was using PC at futon until 11 p.m. Snow on the ground outside was 10cm(4inches) deep this morning. It was snowing from when I woke up, but it stopped before afternoon. But it started snowing at four. Of course, I cleared the road of snow before breakfast, and cleared snow on the car with a repaired sponge mop that was broken before breakfast. It got to be a good exercise for me. As you know, we are poor. So my legs are rolled with futon without an electric heater in futon from this afternoon. But I was only using a foot heater. But I can see a thermometer says that it is 2(36) degrees now. So it is the same environment with outside, the different is that there is a cold wind or there is not. My fingers almost are to be frozen shortly. By the way, there is PC beside my pillow at futon from last night. It was Hitachi Flora (1997), I got it last January as a secondhand PC at 1,300yen and 1,400yen of the postage, total cost was 13UKponds US$22. It is one body type and has a liquid crystal display. Mainly I used it during hot summer time at the basement mainly. But it did not have its work except the season, so it has been put on the desk at next PC room except for the summer without using almost. There were some things on my watch list of yahoo auction last night. I wanted to see it in futon, too. So the good idea came to my mind that it moved to beside my futon. I in futon finally got a used motherboard of PC with the PC last night. I have wanted to get a used one sometimes because I have PC that had a broken motherboard at next room. One of my dreams came true from last year. One of my dreams I have had is what I get a sweet lovely chocolate from my honey on Valentine Day. Then I will give a big kiss for her as her present on March 14. (FEB/7)}

^{It wakes me up at early time every day even though I did not ask to. I woke up at quarter to five naturally this morning, too. Basically it was a fine weather today. I was at home all day long. Mom was watching a marathon in Ohita, southern east Japan, on TV that I had recorded on the tape yesterday. By the way, I had forgot that Yokohama Film Festival was held yesterday at all until I saw the news of the festival on the news site this morning. Erica was recognized publicly at the festival to get anew face award of the film festival this year. I happened to write about her on this diary yesterday even though I did not know about it. By the way, I watched a historical drama on TV, but a woman ninja who like playing with a turtle like Bond girls did not come out on the TV last night in spite of waiting of me. I wonder when she comes out of the drama. Actual she looks like Chiyo for me. But in fact, she approach to her husband to get important information by using her sexual charm like Bond girl's weapon. Her aunt Mami on the morning drama who I told you the other day on this diary will seems to come out the drama next week, too, according to a preview of next week. However, I am afraid there are no women who approach to me by sexual weapon at all. But if I give my name as Merchandiskii to her, she would play with me like turtle on beach. (FEB/6)}

^{I woke up at quarter past five. And there was not a radio that I had to listen to because today was Sunday morning, so I got out of futon and cleared the road to entrance of snow that was 3 cm deep with a plastic shovel at 6 a.m. There were only footprints of a deliveryman of newspaper there who rode a motorbike to come at 4:30 every morning. I sent my mom to a house of her relation that had lived a dead women by car at 9 a.m. And I had a drive alone after dropping her off. I almost drove car on snowy road, but I liked driving a car on snowy road, so I was enjoying driving car on snowy road. Snow around my running car remained me of Erica who was liked winter. I wonder how she was doing now after her great drama. She was a really cool! And she matched well with snow. When my car was running on the bridge over the Iwai river from under the valley in Genbi, four or five swans were flying over my car to the west suddenly, but they were just only 3m (10inches) high over me. So I certainly saw their beaks were yellow with my eyes even though they were shortsighted. I was given 10000yen from mom before leaving home to buy oil, so I called at a self-service petrol station on my way home. A self-service station was seen from a few years ago around here, too. I almost get into these stations to get petrol for our car since their stations were built around here because oil price was cheaper at 5yenper liter than ordinary petrol stations. At first, I bought a 10000yen prepaid card for the first time at the vender machine. The price by that gets to be 2yen cheaper a liter than cash price. I filled up the tank of the car with petrol by the card, first. The tank was filled with petrol at 27 liters. 125yen a liter, 2.7 ponds a UK gallon, $4.1 a US gallon. Next I moved the car by a tanker plane of kerosene, and opened the boot to take out two plastic tanks. I poured kerosene 40.7 liters into two tanks after all. Kerosene price is quite higher than usual year. Is it your place, too? It was 50yen a liter about this time last year, but now it was 79yena liter!! But it was still 60 yen at the middle of December. The price of the station was 75yen a liter, 1.6 ponds a UK gallon, 2.5 US gallons. When I tried to leave from the station, 3,647yen was printed on the back of the card under 10,000yen. I came back home at 10:30, and I carried their heavy tanks filled with kerosene to my house on the uphill slope, and I lifted them up the main big tank, and poured kerosene into the tank to use quickly for mom without a hand pump. And a little kerosene left in the tank was poured into another big tank for bath. It was frozen in the pipe by terrible cold this winter, so we have to boil water in the bathtub sometime whether we take a bath or not. We finally seemed to get a heart warming by those added 40 liters kerosene. (FEB/5)}   

Drugstore This is a drugstore I went to and wrote on my diary often. I bought a lot things on New Year sale here.

^{I woke up at quarter past three! A newspaper old man delivered a paper to my house at 4:30. It was the coldest morning today, according to a weather report's site. It was -11.1 (12) degrees. But I did not know about it at all, I was in futon and listening to the radio until 8 o'clock. As this morning's temperature, it was a fine weather from daybreak. I repaired a sponge mop noon with an electric drill that was broken yesterday morning when I was clearing snow on the body of my car. It was only 100 yen, though, I thought it was useful tool for the car. And I got into the car with my old laptop PC and a inverter that I had bought yesterday by chance. It had nothing of problems to start, and it showed me a detailed map on the display easily like it was in my room. It was 1/25,000 map, we can download them for free from the public map center site to use for personal use only. When I have a drive, I will take it on the passenger sheet with me from house. It was snowing around 2 o'clock. By the way, today is the first day of spring on the traditional Japanese calendar. But today was the coldest morning this winter. But because it is just on the middle between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. By the way, my elderly sis gave me a red mask of devil yesterday, February 3 is called Setsubun in Japan. It means the change of season. On this day, winter is over and spring has come! Really? This morning is really cold like that? I am afraid that is true. Last evening,  usually families in Japan scatter beans in each home, shouting "Fortune in! Devils out!" I saw there were three peanuts at entrance this morning, but they were by mom, I thought. As a child, I found there were some peanuts on the ground in the garden when spring has come and snow was melted. Of course, I picked them up and eat them!  (FEB/4)}

^{I woke up at 5:30, but I did not know why, I felt a headache in futon. I wonder if I had two cups of hot sake, Japanese rice wine, to get warm at dinner. But I did not feel a headache after supper. Anyway, I thought it was a hangover, I took a painkiller after having breakfast. Finding out this medicine was the great discovery for me, because I had to have a headache for three days at least before I found it out. New 10cm(4inches)piled snow on the ground this morning, too. I cleared the road of snow before going to shopping. I had been asked from mom to send her to a supermarket. At first, we went to a nearby supermarket that we went to often at 10 a.m. She said that she want to buy green vegetables because there were not enough them at kitchen. She got into the store, and I got into a bookstore next door. I pick a magazine of motorcycle, English textbook, or PC up at the store usually. I stood reading some motorcycle magazines in the store, but it was a PC magazine that I bought. What I got a PC magazine was a happened after a long time. I used to buy two of PC magazine every month when I bought a first PC about five years ago, but now, it was one or two a year. I sent mom to an off-license after she got back to my car. I was waiting her in the car with a hot can coffee that I brought from home and reading the PC magazine with the coffee without car heater because it was a fine day, but it was -3 (27) degrees outside then. I dropped her off in front of the store, and I headed for a 100yen shop, and went to a big DIY store after a long time. The reason that I went to the store was to find metal fittings out for a broken stick that I bought at 100yen shop to remove snow on the car to repair it. But I could not fine it out, I put a car inverter into the basket that I happened to see, because I thought I wanted to use my old laptop PC in the car to look into the place with the prepared map when I got lost on my driving with her. It was only 7 UK ponds, $14. It changes 12 volts to 100 volts. And I also happened to get a stainless water bottle that I had been wanted before. It was only 2 UK ponds, $4. I came back home at 12. However, I had to bring a lot of bags filled with stuffs by mom and me to my home. And my sister came to my home with her presents. She gave us two rolled sushi to eat them tonight, and a box of chocolate that was made in Belgium, according to her. She went back home soon at 1p.m. (FEB/3)}

^{I woke up at 5. It was snowy day yesterday. There was a 20cm(8inchs) snow outside when I got out of futon. I cleared road of snow with a plastic shovel before breakfast, and cleared snow on the car after breakfast, too. It was hard work, but it was good workout for me because I did not almost exercise in the winter. Outside around here was covered with much white snow, but it was a fine day today. By the way, I am learning English from five years ago. Japanese school begins a new school year in April. I began learning English on the radio by myself on September 2001 from halfway. So I started learning a new basic English course "KisoEigo 3" on the radio in April 2002. Kiso is basic, and Eigo is English in Japanese. The course wasby Mr. Teshima who was a male English teacher in junior high school. I think it was "Where is a ladybird?" first. By the way, there was a girl in Kiso. She was just to be a ninth-year student in the school in Kiso where it was in the middle of Japan and was in the deep mountain. Here house was a candle store from old days. Her grandpa was making a candle by his hand at home. And then, a young female teacher from Hawaii came to her school in the spring of the year to teach real English for students. Her dad was an American of Japanese descent in Hawaii, and her mom was a Japanese who was growing up in Tokyo. Her house was a goldfish seller. The teacher's name was Elizabeth Sakura. Sakura means cherry blossoms in Japanese. She spoke English fluently, but I did not know why, especially Queens English was despite growing up in Hawaii. Anyway, she looked for her room and found it in the traditional candle store and made up her mind to rent one of old rooms in the house to live the small town. So the girl student got to be living with an English teacher in the same house together. I think she was also listening to the same radio English course "KisoEigo 3"on NHK with me at that year. KisoEigo 3 was made for ninth-grade students. I thought she was a pretty girl then, but I did not know her name until recently, and I did not know she was that pretty student at all.　I mean, my English teacher was the same English teacher for her then, and we did not know about it until recently at all. Her aunt is Mami who was born in the same year with me, and her name is Kanako.  (FEB/2)} 

At Temple This is a bell house of the temple. A bell at temple is struck by a priest at 6 a.m. and  6 p.m. usually.

^{I woke up at 7:30 a.m. But I thought it was about 2:45 a.m. when I fell into a sleep this morning. I went to futon at 7 p.m. after having supper last night, and listening to the radio. But I did not feel sleepy at all. I could not fall asleep easily. So I was listening to Jazz CD in futon  I had just bought yesterday. And I tried to sleep, but I could not go to sleep, so I turned a radio on at 1 a.m. and listening to Ohta and Tanaka, and Cream stew who visit a room of poor Hungarian student, Haruka. And then, I opened the fridge to drink a can beer at 2 a.m. But I could not feel sleepy at all after having a beer. T George who was one of Sakazaki's friends said the day before yesterday on his radio, but I understand what he was talking. As he said that there were nice rebroadcast late-night TV on satellite broadcasting of NHK, so when he watched them, he said that he could not go to his bed easily even though he wanted to turn TV off. After all, he said that it made him watch it until the last. I might be so like him last night despite not watching it in the living room. But VTR was working at that time instead of me by a timer. When I looked at a clock of stereo digital timer at the last, it was 2:40 a.m. and I did not remember anything from that, so I seemed to go to sleep.
